| Promoting Bible study over theology because of the truth, the authority, and the necessity of the Bible. |
What’s with the rabbit
…and his pile of poop?
Leviticus 11:6
says:
“…the hare…cheweth the cud…”
If you are a
theologian you call it poop.
If you are a Bible
believer you call it cud.
Theology
is a product of Greek Reason – also called rationalism,
humanism, philosophy, the scientific method, etc. Reason says we should
live by sight not by faith. Early theologians Reasoned that if the Bible is true it’ll stand
up to scientific scrutiny, even though scientific scrutiny is based on a “secular search for unbiased (!) truth.” Liberal theologians quickly concluded that the Bible
isn’t pure truth...because “science” could find no proof for things like Noah’s
flood, miracles, sin, and hell. But conservative theologians couldn’t use the
above to “prove” the preserved, inerrant word of God doesn’t exist, they had to
find other Biblical “errors” to convince the church that Christianity should be
dependent upon theology rather than Bible study.
Bible
study only loses relevance if God has not preserved His inerrant word
for us – because it’s a waste of time studying something you cannot trust.
Therefore, in order to replace Bible study with theology, provable errors had to be found in:
1. The old Greek and Hebrew manuscripts (the
Alexandrian and the Textus Receptus
manuscripts).
2. The modern Bible
versions (NASV, NIV, RSV, NWT, NKJV, etc).
3. The King
James Bible.
The
first two groups were easily disqualified as God’s word because they
say:
● Elhanan is the one
who killed Goliath (2 Sam 21:19).
● Christ was a sinner
(cp. Matt 5:22 with Mark 3:5).
● Mark 1:2,3 is factually wrong.
● Christ was a liar
(cp. John 7:8 with John 7:10).
● And other errors
detailed in Chapter D22 on the Bible version issue.
But
the errors in the first two groups weren’t enough to discredit Bible study
because their corruption merely highlighted the apparent inerrancy of the
Authorized 1611 King James Bible…because it not only has none of the errors of the first two groups, it has no provable errors of any kind!
Christians therefore had long used its inerrancy-based authority to overrule
the unscriptural findings of theologians. Theologians hate
it when Bible believers who think God’s word exists quote “thus saith the Lord”, because that
emphasizes the fact that theology isn’t Bible-based. So it was important
to theologians to find, somewhere, anywhere, an error in the KJV.
Besides, their old brain-dead throwaway line about the KJV – that they had
trouble understanding all the thees and thous – made them look like infantile, impotent whiners
who couldn’t handle fourth-grade reading material. They desperately needed
something
concrete.
Then
they found it (they thought): Leviticus 11:6. Rabbits most certainly do not
(they incorrectly thought up until just a few years ago) chew their cuds; they
don’t even have cuds! Now theologians finally – for the first
time in history – had a “provable error” in the KJV…which meant we really did
need theology to find God’s truth for us because we sure couldn’t trust Bible study!
Note:
When the Leviticus 11:6 “error” was found, it affected only the KJV…even though all
versions and manuscripts say rabbits chew their cuds. Why only the KJV? Because the first two groups (old manuscripts and the modern versions
made from them) had already been
disqualified as Scripture by the more glaring errors above. Therefore
the only practical significance of the Lev 11:6 “error” was in the fact that it
seemed to prove the KJV was not God’s
inerrant truth.
But
He that sitteth in the heavens used the “foolish
things of the world” to confound the “wise”: Rabbits were observed eating their
poop! Research revealed that rabbits poop their cud rather than regurgitate it
like sheep, goats, and cows!
All
of a sudden theology was back to square one. All of a sudden theology’s
official position that the inspired, inerrant word of God no longer exists was
again
baseless. All of a sudden Bible believers who said “thus saith
the Lord: rabbits chew their cuds” were RIGHT; and theologians who said,
“uh, this word cud is an unfortunate
rendering…it should say rabbits chew their fingernails”
(!) were not only WRONG, they were embarrassed, disgraced, and
discredited.
But
the theological lie that the inspired, inerrant word of God no longer exists
has been around long enough, and many Christians have become so programmed to
lazily base their doctrines on the findings of theologians, that many preachers
and pewsters no longer know the following
facts:
● The “original
autographs”, the “original” Greek and Hebrew texts, and even reliable copies of
the originals don’t exist! All of the Greek and Hebrew
manuscripts we’ve ever found contain the above errors – and
more.
●
The only book or
manuscript on earth that meets God’s own
qualification for His Holy Bible, inerrancy, is the King James
Bible. It really is the milk and meat, indeed – the cud, that God has given us to eat.
●
God’s word teaches
that we’ll know His Holy Bible by its fruit: inerrancy=the KJV. But theology says even though we’ll never get to know His inerrant truth by
poring over the roots of old
known-to-be-corrupt manuscripts…we should
do it anyway!
●
That’
s why modern Bible versions,
which were made from the above corrupt manuscripts by root-seeking
cud-rejecting theologians, have the same errors the corrupt manuscripts
have. The modern versions really are
faithful
translations of corrupt manuscripts!
●
Not long after the KJV came
out, Christians noticed it had the unique inhuman quality of inerrancy, and
writings began appearing in the 1700s rejoicing over the fact that God
really has somehow preserved His word for His faithful church.
●
If the KJV did not exist
there wouldn’t be any of God’s people on earth who think His inspired, inerrant
Bible really does exist today. Everybody would be forced into accepting
theology’s re-definition of God’s Holy Bible: “A human book/version that
will never be God’s inerrant truth no matter how many Bible translators pay to
attend theology school.”
● That’s the reason behind
THE THEOLOGIANS’ JOKE: “What do we call the common belief that God
failed to preserve His inerrant word for us today? JOB SECURITY!”
But
it’s no joke: The sad fact is most Christians are taught to with their lips
say the inerrant word of God exists, but in practice to demonstrate
unbelief
by constantly submitting the words in God’s Book to theological books by man
for verification or correction!! But as theology’s rabbit cud disaster shows,
it is not only inexcusable to exalt theology over Bible study, it is blasphemy against God and His word to do
so. Theology’s continued existence (after the KJV’s inerrancy was verified)
reveals theology to be a haven for wolves who, in spite of the telling fact
that they do not believe God preserved His word, want to cling to
“respectability” by cloaking their unbelief with theology, which is
something only those who don’t believe in
the existence of God’s word think is respectable!
Because
of the above irrefutable facts, theology-worshipping Christians will ignore the
inerrancy of the KJV and try to sidetrack you with red herrings such as
(theological rhetoric in yellow):
● “What a clever attempt
to explain away all the errors in the Textus Receptus.” Rebuttal: The errors in the TR and all of the other
manuscripts have been reproduced in the modern versions, which is why neither
you nor anybody else thinks the modern theology-produced versions are God’s word
as He defines it. We focus on the fact that the only Book on earth nobody has
ever found errors in is the KJV. So quit trying to dodge the issue of the KJV’s
inerrancy by talking about the corrupt TR; let’s rejoice over the amazing
inerrancy of God’s word.
●
“You poor fool; you
must not know there have been a number of editions of the KJV: when it
first came out in 1611 it had all kinds of printing and editing errors, and the
several editions were corrections of those human errors. Therefore the KJV shouldn’t
be trusted and believed today…because it used to have errors. You should trust
and believe us theologians; we’ll tell you what to believe.” Rebuttal: The Bible
says God’s perfect word is
available to us today. Because you don’t have the faith to believe Him, and
because you can’t find errors in the KJV, and because you aren’t forthright
enough to admit that differences are
not the same as errors, you are
forced to stoop to exaggerations and half-truths – such as the so-called
“editions” of the KJV. You and I have never seen those early editions of the
KJV that corrected human printing errors, and people don’t use them. But
anybody can go to any bookstore and buy a KJV and publicly embarrass you by
handing it to you and forcing you to stick to the point by asking you to point
out a single provable error. And – like all other theology-worshipping children
of pride whose main preoccupation is saving face – you’ll predictably and
boringly attempt to avoid the crux of the matter, inerrancy, by pointing out differences (not errors)
between the inerrant KJV and the corrupt manuscripts…as in the following
example:
●
“The best manuscripts
say Elhanan killed Goliath, but the dopey KJV says Elhanan killed Goliath’s
brother! What a horrible job the King James translators did! Therefore the KJV
is not the word of God!” Rebuttal: Shame on you for not only trying to get us to stop
glorifying God for preserving His holy word, but for actually trying to use the
KJV’s unique inerrancy as some kind of twisted proof that it isn’t God’s word!
I say again, truths in the KJV cannot be made untruths just because they aren’t
“in agreement” with the errors in the old manuscripts!
Because
God is
(because He exists), and because He has defined His holy word as
preserved inerrancy, we by faith know His word is (it exists).
And we shall know His word by its fruit – inerrancy. In other words, when
faithful Christians find a book with no errors they happily accept it as
God’s word…and they quickly discard all of the other manuscripts and versions
whose errors are obvious proofs that they should be used as kitty
litter.
Balaam’s ass (2 Peter
2:16) and the rabbit
represent
faithful believers who have ears that hear.
Bible believers view
the pile of rabbit cud
as
a reminder that God’s word really is inspired and inerrant.
However, theologians
who deny the modern existence
of
the inspired, infallible word of God think it’s just a pile of shit.
In sum: It’s not about the rabbit or its
cud:
It’s about the living word of the living God.
2
Cor 2:19-28: For it is written, I will destroy the
wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
Where is the wise? where is the
scribe? where is
the disputer of this world? hath not God made
foolish
the wisdom of this world? For the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God
by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. Because the
foolishness of God is wiser than men; God hath chosen the foolish things of the
world to confound the wise; And base things of the world, and things which are
despised, hath God chosen, yea.

Let them
that have ears that hear, hear.
| LOWLY RABBIT CUD: Bible believers love it because it stood up to close scrutiny. Theologians hate it for the same reason. |
